At Studio Ellipsis, we don’t just ship projects—we build worlds. We’re a small team of world-class creators bound by a singular belief: that imagination, executed with discipline and excellence, can reshape what games and transmedia experiences mean to people.
We’re looking for a sharp, passionate, and relentlessly detail-driven Project Manager to take the reins of production across our studio. You’ll be the operational engine behind our projects, ensuring that every milestone is tracked, every deliverable hits the mark, and every team member is empowered to do their best work.
This isn’t a role for the passive or the procedural. It’s for someone who believes in what we’re making—who thrives in ambiguity, leads with clarity, and holds the bar high not because someone told them to, but because they wouldn’t have it any other way.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily standups, surfacing blockers, driving clarity, & pushing for progress.
- Own and maintain Jira, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Build and evolve roadmaps, and timelines for both game and transmedia initiatives.
- Host and facilitate build reviews, aligning teams, enabling informed go/no-go decisions.
- Define and uphold stage gates across all major phases (pre-production, milestones, alpha, beta, launch), with clear creative and production criteria.
- Track velocity and delivery, proactively resolving risks and bottlenecks before they impact momentum.
- Serve as a bridge between teams, aligning vision with execution every step of the way.
- Document, report, and run retrospectives that make each cycle sharper, faster, and more intentional than the last.
You Are
- A systems thinker with 5+ years of experience managing production in game development, interactive, or transmedia.
- Proven at leading complex pipelines across multiple disciplines (art, design, engineering, narrative).
- Fluent in Agile, Jira, and whatever tools keep the machine humming.
- A strong communicator and facilitator—you make sure the right conversations happen at the right time.
- Obsessed with detail and discipline. You don’t let chaos in the door.
- Clear-eyed under pressure. You don’t just manage crises—you anticipate and prevent them.
- Energized by purpose. You care about what we’re making and want to be part of something lasting.
